Maker to Multiplier

Most managers don’t burn out because they work too hard. They burn out because they never stop being Makers. They were promoted for producing great work. But leadership requires something different.

Makers produce work.

Multipliers produce capacity.

A Multiplier increases capacity by taking accountability for outcomes while releasing responsibility for tasks. Capacity isn’t created by working harder.
It’s created by installing structure.

If you’re managing a small team and still carrying too much execution, the issue isn’t effort. It’s architecture.

Stop carrying everything yourself.
